Symptoms:

Deploying an Oracle staging table or reading objects from an Oracle data source results in an error message. 

Error Message:

Unable to validate the structure of the SSIS package.
InformationSchema_<User Specific Data>
SSIS Package: InformationSchema_<User Specific Data>
SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred.
Error code: 0x8007007E.
An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft OLE DB Service Components" Hresult 0x8007007E Description: "The specified module could not be found.".

SSIS Error Code
DTS_E_CANNOTACQUIRECONNECTIONFROMCONNECTIONMANAGER.
The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "Data Source" failed with error code 0xC0202009. There may be error messages posted before this with more information on why the AcquireConnection method call failed.

OLE DB Source failed validation and returned error code 0xC020801C.
One or more component failed validation.
There were errors during task validation.

Underlying Problem:

Unclear at this time, but likely has to do with incomplete Oracle Data Provider install or corrupted Oracle Data Provider components.

Solution:

Re-install the Oracle client, and be sure to include the Oracle Data Provider components as described in the install guide.
