Latest Release
Note: Due to a bug in the upgrade script from version 20.10.57, versions 20.10.58 - 20.10.61 are no longer available for download. A new version, 20.10.62, fixing the issue was released on 2025-03-20. We recommend that you upgrade to version 20.10.62 if you're running one of the affected versions and use the ODX.
Visit our new support site and download the newest release of TimeXtender unless you have an existing installation of TimeXtender v. 20.10 or older.
Note: Effective 03-05-2025, the TimeXtender Enhanced data source providers will replace the current third-party providers from CData. As we're no longer distributing CData providers, they will not receive updates, and no new providers can be downloaded through the application. If you have data sources that use CData providers, we strongly recommend that you upgrade to the latest release, to get access to the new TimeXtender Enhanced providers and begin migration from the old providers. See Important information regarding TimeXtender 20.10 (V20), TimeXtender Data Integration (TDI), and TimeXtender Classic (V25 / Classic) for more information
WARNING
Starting from ODX Server version 20.10.53, this version will remove the need for the local "backlog" component of the application metadata repository.
This upgrade cannot be rolled back.
Before proceeding with the upgrade from a previous version, you must ensure your local backlog is fully synchronized with the cloud-based repository metadata, or you could lose saved progress in your ODX. To do this, follow the below instructions:
For Each ODX Service Project and each ODX Service:
- Open your TimeXtender client and right-click the ODX Service, and choose 'Shut down ODX Service'.
- At the bottom you will have the Last synchronization timestamp.
- If the timestamp is current (i.e. representing the last time you made a change in your solution) your repository is in sync, so no need for further action.
- If the timestamp is a while back in time and you are not sure that it is synchronized, you can force a synchronize by doing a minor change like adding a dummy task or edit a data source. Then wait a few minutes and check the Last synchronization timestamp again.
- You can also double check the Windows Event Viewer and check for error messages to ensure you do not have any synchronization issues. - When you are confident the backlog is synchronized you should shut down the ODX service and you are ready to upgrade.
