Symptoms

Everything deploys well in Development environment.
You moved the project from Development environment to Production.
Some tables deploy with no problem
A table with a Virtual Data AreaID reference fails on deploy SSIS package – failed. Incorrect syntax near ‘)’.

Cause

The problem is that there is a virtual reference on the table and that it has not yet been synchronized with the Dynamics AX data source, so it does not have the table for the virtual data. 

Resolution

Synchronize the datasource to resolved the issue.
