Symptoms

The delete option for the project is not available. 

Cause

The most likely cause is that you have team development activated for the project. This prevents you from deleting the project.

Resolution

To delete a team development project you'll first have to change the team development setting in the project repository. To disable team development and delete the project, do as follows:

1. Go to the Tools ribbon tab and click on Reposity Administration in the Administration section.
2. On the list that appears, right click on the project you wish to delete and choose Disable Team Development.
3. Right click on the project again and choose Delete. You have now deleted the project.
