Symptoms

Sometimes the timeXtender Scheduler service is not removed from the services list when timeXtender is uninstalled

Resolution

Remove the service manually. This can be done using the command prompt as follows:

1. Run command prompt with elevated rights. On Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008:
   • Click Start
   • Type "CMD"
   • Right click the icon and click Run as administrator
2. Type "sc delete 'timeXtender Scheduler <Version>'" in the prompt and press enter.
