Symptoms:

After changing the tnsnames file, testing the connection to the Oracle data source works, but Oracle staging tables cannot be deployed or executed.

Error Message:

Error during execution of package for
SSIS Package: <SSIS Package Name>
SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. 

SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on OLE DB Source returned error code 0xC0202009. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.

Underlying problem:

Unknown at this time.  The PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED error is unfortunately rather non-specific.

Resolution:

Switch off SSIS for the Oracle data source, and try to deploy and execute an Oracle table using ADO.net.  If this works, switch SSIS back on, and re-deploy your Oracle data source tables' SSIS packages.  A full deployment and execution may be the fastest way to accomplish this.  Reloading incremental tables is not necessary in this process.
